Reporting to Marine Projects Supervisor, the Captain for the S-hwuhhwa’us Thi’lut Kw’atl’kwa (Thunderbird
Protecting the Ocean) program will advance and uphold Indigenous authority to steward lands and waters by supervising,
actively patrolling, monitoring and demonstrating a presence on lands and waters of Quw’utsun’s ancestral traditional
territory. The primary operating vessel will be a new custom aluminum, 8.2m (27’), 8-person, crew boat from Lifetimer Boats,
with twin 200 outboard motors. This position is a full time term position and works primarily in the field, as well as remotely
and in the office. Moderate local travel is required.
